All Type 10 solid waste generated from single and multi-family residential properties is directed to this location.

All Type 10 solid waste generated from commercial and institutional generators is directed to this location.
Route 21 South to Routes 1&9 South
Right (West) onto Laura Street
Left (South) onto Jackson Avenue
Left (East) onto Olive Street to Julia Street
All Type 13, 23 and 27 solid waste from all sources is directed to this location.
Haulers should use major highways and primary roads to the facility and avoid local streets.
The Essex County Health Department is the solid waste and recycling enforcement agency of Essex County. This department has the same level of authority as the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
Remember all solid waste generated within Essex County must go to those solid waste facilities with whom the ECUA has a solid waste disposal contract. If you have a solid waste that one of the approved facilities will not accept, contact the ECUA for instructions as to how to arrange for proper disposal of that material.
